The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Party

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of personalities, and a exciting storyline featuring divine entities, evil spirits, and sinister influences expanding in power within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The third episode finished on a dramatic pause and introduced the first table of characters who will split off from the primary party to undertake their independent quest, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Considering a large ensemble, it was clear from the start that having everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Introduction, connecting the personal journeys before branching into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Planners, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who are drawn to a classically intense battle-oriented story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might seem out of place, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a intense opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose passing started the narrative’s action—used The Crow Keepers for his own means, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the character, and stealing all the enchanted items to dispose of.

Casimir then cleared his liabilities and ran away to a secure base in the remote area, north of the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each adventurer has a individual motive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the companion and best friend, wants revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and warns that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to eliminate Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • But, their status as prominent individuals in House Halovar could enable the group enter places they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the setting for a range of causes, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and Wicander defied the powerful family and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This leaves them little choice but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of Casimir.

Future Episodes

From episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight participants to form the Explorers and Strategists tables.

Audiences can anticipate discovering which characters will be in which group in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on October 24.
